40 Mile Malt is a craft maltster located in the longtime agricultural hub of Fallon, Nevada. 

Farmer, fabricator and maltster Arne Martin began growing barley in 2017 after noticing the ever-growing number of craft breweries in Nevada and Northern California. His family has been farming this land since arriving in Fallon in 1954, but primarily growing alfalfa. 

Using a custom malting system he developed himself, Martin is malting barley, as well as other types of grains, for breweries and distilleries.
